HOW THEY ARE USED

A small faceplate gives more work room around the bottom of the piece. This allows for better wood usage and safer working conditions.	Using faceplates for jam chucks provides the turner a lot  of options. Great for bowl reversal, small jam work, and a host of other uses.  This is wonderful for repetitive use needs as, unlike holding jam chucks in jaw chucks, they do not need to be refitted each use.	A good Center Marker allows for accurate centering when the faceplate is removed.  It takes all of the guess work and wobble out. Accurate, quick, and easy.
